Affiliate Disclosure

An affiliate link is a special URL that contains a tracking code unique to Utah Bass Bros. When you click that link and complete a purchase within a certain timeframe (usually 24–90 days depending on the retailer), we receive a small percentage of the sale as a referral fee.

This does not change the price you pay. You pay exactly what you would have paid going directly to the retailer. The commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket.

Utah Bass Bros participates in the following affiliate and advertising programs, among others:

• Amazon Associates: We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
• Bass Pro Shops / Cabela's: We may earn commissions from qualifying purchases made through links to BassProShops.com and Cabelas.com.
• Tackle Warehouse: We may earn commissions from qualifying purchases made through links to TackleWarehouse.com.
• Academy Sports + Outdoors: We may earn commissions from qualifying purchases made through links to Academy.com.
• Other fishing & outdoor retailers: From time to time we may work with additional affiliate programs including tackle shops, fishing gear brands, and outdoor equipment retailers.

Affiliate relationships never dictate our editorial opinions. When we recommend a rod, reel, lure, or tackle product, it's because we genuinely believe it's a good choice for anglers — not because it pays the highest commission.

We only recommend products we have personally used, thoroughly researched, or believe provide real value to bass anglers. If something is not worth your money, we will say so.

Per the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's guidelines, we are required to disclose our affiliate relationships clearly and conspicuously. This page, along with inline disclosures throughout the Site, satisfies that requirement. You may also see notices like “This post contains affiliate links” near the top of individual articles that contain such links.

Occasionally Utah Bass Bros may publish sponsored posts or product reviews for which we receive compensation. Any sponsored content will be clearly labeled as such. Our honest opinion of sponsored products is always our own — we will not publish a positive review of a product we do not stand behind.
