Water temp: 58°F. Water clarity: stained (2-3 ft visibility). Lake level: slightly low.

What's Working

Pre-spawn largemouth are stacked in the north end marshes and around the boat docks. Suspending jerkbaits on a pause-pause-pause retrieve are triggering reaction strikes. Texas-rigged Rage Craws flipped into the reed beds are producing fish up to 5 lbs.

Best Spots

• North marina boat docks
• Reed beds along the northeast shore
• Rocky points near the inflow channels

Tips

The fish are staging and feeding aggressively before the spawn. Slow down your presentation - let jerkbaits hang for 3-5 seconds between twitches. Chartreuse and black/blue are the top color patterns in the stained water.
